OddyTree
A downloadable game for Windows
Your old forest is dying! Journey to the flourishing birch-forest but keep your balance - trees are not made for walking! This will be quite a challenge - especially if there's a swedish village in the way!
It's a lot of fun and even harder in co-op with a friend or partner!
Controls
Foot-movement / Player One: WASD
Balancing / Player Two: Arrow Keys
Quit: ESCAPE
Oddytree's prototype (GameJamVersion in the downloads) was created during Indie Schooltrip Game Jam 2019 at Spelkolletivet, Sweden. Huge thanks to our Hosts for making this awesome Game Jam possible! Thanks to all other participants for the great time! Special thanks to Lara for the fun ideas in the bus!

I saw this among the BLM bundle and...
I'm kinda sad you didn't go with the title "Oddi-Tree."
EDIT: ooo, you kinda did. When I read it on the list, my brain added an 'L' so it looked like 'oddly tree'...

Haha thanks for commenting! 🤩
Played your game in a video I made. It was pretty funny. Hope you like video!
Hi LordofNope, thanks for playing and featuring it! I'll check it out!
Very late reply, but I loved watching you play, very funny! Hope you are good, cheers!
Ahahahaa, awesome idea XD
Hello, looks fun! Does it work with controllers? or is it planned? or possible via importing in Steam and using a steam controller?
Great fun! Only played it alone so far, but definitly see how co-op would be even harder. I like the look of it too. Thanks for making and sharing
Thanks Bee123 for playing and reaching out! Happy balancing ;) I can't promise it but there might even be an update on the horizon.
Cheers!
My thoughts; 02/09/2019
I like this one. It is what it is. Remember when you were a kid and you balanced that ruler on your hand length-ways up? It's that, but a tree.
It's simple, easy to get the hang of but still holds a challenge, and frankly I can see people being interested in a whole game.
It needs music, and a better reward at the end, but other than that, this is good. Could be more interesting, but could be a lot worse.
Balance your wood simulator.

Thanks so much for playing and the detailed feedback!
You are very right, sound and music would be a welcome addition which we had to cut to finish the game in time for the jam, but which we have on our list. Also rewards and an improved gameloop with probably a hybrid-procedural level-generation is something we are thinking about at the moment.
We are glad you liked and enjoyed it so far and would be interested in more feedback down the line.
Best from Zwi/Team Oddytree
I would be happy to give feedback 👍
Hope to see more.
